BABALA sleeps six in two staterooms and a convertible dinette with privacy curtain.
WALKTHROUGH:
Forward is the guest stateroom which has a V-berth with filler, windows port and starboard, hatch above, chain locker forward, plenty of locker and volume storage.
Aft, the C-shaped galley has a Taylors four-burner propane stove with oven, large Raritan ice maker, Phillips Cooktronic 8955 microwave oven, extra deep two bowl stainless steel sink, in-counter refrigeration, refrigerator to starboard, cupboard and volume storage, Supra VHS video player.
To starboard is the day head.
Aft and to port is a C-shaped dinette that converts to a berth with privacy curtain. To starboard is an in-line couch with volume storage below, color television, entertainment center with Technics AM/FM stereo receiver, JVC cassette deck, Pioneer CD player with 6 disc changer and remote. There is also a ships clock and barometer, book storage, and volume storage.
Moving aft and up two steps, the pilot house has sliding doors to port and starboard, a pass-through to the galley, a lock down sunroof, an L-shaped settee with a fold down table, large chart table above the helm with tremendous chart storage, Raymarine E120 chart plotter/radar, Raymarine ST60 autohelm series true wind indicator, tachometer, hour meter, Robertson AP100DL auto pilot, Robertson rudder angle indicator, Suunto compass, Icom ICM57 VHF, engine gauge package, Sea Farer 700 depth below transducer, Icom ICM802 VHF with distress button, Furuno weather fax facsimile receiver Fax-108 with Lo-Kata Navtex printer, and generator controls.
Down and aft, the master stateroom has a double berth laid to port, dressing seat to starboard, volume storage below the night stand, book shelves, cupboard and drawer storage, large double-door full height hanging locker, SMX Marine Air. The ensuite head has a sink, large mirror and window.
The engine compartment has a G&M four cylinder marine diesel generator and a 6 cylinder Ford Lehman engine, 1250 to 600 RPM model 2725E block A, 6.2 liter capacity.
Power roller furling on the jib & genoa, whisker pole, Nilsson windlass with wildcat, 60 lb. CQR anchor. Both the main and aft masts have in-mast roller furling. There are canvas covers for all exterior wood products, including the railings. The exterior helm has Raymarine E80, electronic panel for in and out sail, Raymarine ST60 true and apparent wind gauge, Sea Farer depth indicator.
There are chrome dinghy davits on the stern, a spare Danforth anchor, a Lewmar electric windlass. The standing rigging and running rigging are in decent order.
